About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Indian Upwork Bidder & Client Acquisition Handler who already understands how Upwork works and has a proven record of generating projects through the platform.

This is not a beginner bidding role .

You should be able to independently identify relevant projects, evaluate whether they are worth applying to, write customized proposals, communicate with clients and manage the initial sales process.

Upwork Project Hunting

- Search Upwork regularly for relevant projects.
- Identify opportunities related to:
- AI Automation
- AI Agents
- n8n
- CRM Automation
- GoHighLevel
- WhatsApp Automation
- Chatbots
- AI Workflows
- Lead Generation
- Sales Funnel Automation
- Business Process Automation
- ManyChat
- API Integrations
- Custom AI Systems
- Prioritize projects with genuine requirements and reasonable budgets.
- Monitor new jobs and apply quickly when there is a strong fit.

Bidding & Proposal Management

- Write personalized proposals for each project.
- Understand the client's actual problem before applying.
- Select relevant WorkAssure portfolio/examples.
- Avoid generic copy-paste proposals.
- Track submitted proposals and their status.




- Manage Upwork Connects efficiently.

Client Communication

- Handle initial client messages professionally.
- Ask the right questions to understand the requirement.
- Explain our capabilities clearly.
- Qualify the client based on requirement, budget, timeline and seriousness.
- Follow up with interested prospects.
- Schedule calls when appropriate.

Lead & Opportunity Management Maintain a proper pipeline such as:

Job Found → Proposal Sent → Client Viewed → Replied → Qualified → Discussion → Meeting → Proposal → Negotiation → Won/Lost

All significant conversations and opportunities should be properly tracked.

Your Profile Requirement

Mandatory:

- Indian candidate
- Minimum 3+ years of Upwork experience
- Must have an existing Upwork profile
- Must have personally handled Upwork bidding
- Proven history of submitting proposals
- Good understanding of Upwork Connects, job selection and proposal strategy
- Strong written English
- Comfortable communicating with international clients
- Experience working with international clients is preferred

We Prefer Someone Who
- Has actually won projects through Upwork
- Understands how to identify high-quality opportunities




- Knows when NOT to bid
- Can write proposals based on the client's requirement rather than using templates
- Understands AI/automation/CRM projects
- Can communicate confidently with clients
- Can work independently
- Responds quickly to new opportunities
- Thinks like a sales person, not just a bidder

Important We are not looking for someone who will simply submit 30–50 proposals every day .

Relevant jobs → Quality proposals → Client replies → Qualified conversations → Meetings → Projects

Quality and conversion are more key than the number of bids.

What You Will Handle

You will primarily manage

Upwork → Prospecting → Bidding → Initial Communication → Qualification → Follow-up → Meeting The WorkAssure team/founder will handle the technical discussion, final proposal, negotiation and closing where required.
