About the Role

GBS Wireless India is looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to join our growing Finance & Accounting team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in US Accounting and US GAAP and will be responsible for managing accounting activities while supporting US-based operations and teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for US-based operations.
- Handle General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) .
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations .
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and payments.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Handle payroll accounting and related activities.
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.




- Coordinate and communicate effectively with US-based teams .
- Independently manage assigned accounting processes and deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on US Accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP .
- Experience with GL, AP, and AR processes.
- Solid reconciliation and financial reporting skills.
- Experience in month-end and year-end closing.
- Knowledge of payroll and intercompany accounting.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks or other US accounting software/platforms .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting activities.
