Shift: 6:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST ✔ US Process: US Accounting / US Process Experience Required ?️ Preferred: Prior Construction Accounting Experience About the Role- We are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable & Bookkeeping Specialist with robust hands-on experience in US accounting, bookkeeping, and AP operations. The ideal candidate should have experience managing accounting transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end activities, and bookkeeping support across multiple entities. Prior experience in construction accounting will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities- - Perform Accounts Payable data entry and transaction processing.

- Record financial transactions accurately and ensure proper account classification.
- Perform bank reconciliations and identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide support for financial reporting and preparation of accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, adjustments, and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and support journal entries, including intercompany transactions and complex accounting entries.
- Support accounting activities related to property/lot sales and development transactions.
- Perform end-to-end bookkeeping support across operating, holding, development, rental, and investment entities.
- Perform catch-up bookkeeping for designated entities and ensure accounting records are current and accurate.
- Review transactions and supporting documentation to identify missing information, discrepancies, unusual transactions, or accounting inconsistencies.
- Escalate accounting issues and discrepancies to the appropriate stakeholders for review and resolution.




- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records in accordance with established accounting procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to obtain required documentation and clarification.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of accounting activities.

Required Skills & Experience- - 4+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable, Bookkeeping, General Accounting, or US Accounting.

- Strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting operations.
- Prior experience with US accounting processes is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of AP, account classification, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
- Experience handling intercompany transactions is preferred.
- Ability to analyze transactions and identify discrepancies or unusual accounting activity.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting activities within deadlines.
- Prior experience working in US shifts is required.

Preferred

Experience- - Prior experience in Construction Accounting.

- Experience handling accounting for multiple entities.
- Experience with property, real estate, development, rental, or investment accounting.
- Experience with catch-up/cleanup bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounting software/ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, Yardi, or similar platforms.
