Position: Veterinary Gynaecologist / Veterinary Reproduction Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

PET PRO is looking for a skilled Veterinary Gynaecologist to provide specialised reproductive and gynaecological healthcare for pets. The role involves diagnosis, treatment, reproductive management, and performing relevant surgical procedures while ensuring high standards of animal care and patient safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -

- Conduct gynaecological examinations and reproductive health assessments of pets.
- Diagnose and treat reproductive and gynaecological conditions in animals.
- Manage breeding, fertility, heat cycles, pregnancy, and reproductive health.
- Perform and assist with gynaecological and reproductive surgeries as required.
- Handle pregnancy-related complications and provide appropriate medical care.
- Conduct reproductive procedures, diagnostic tests, and follow-up examinations.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans based on the animal’s condition.
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records for all cases.
- Provide clear guidance to pet parents regarding treatment, reproductive care, recovery, and post-operative care.




- Work closely with veterinary doctors and the clinical team for comprehensive patient care.
- Follow proper surgical, clinical, hygiene, and animal-welfare protocols.

REQUIREMENTS

- BVSc & AH with relevant postgraduate qualification/specialisation in Veterinary Gynaecology, Theriogenology, or Veterinary Reproduction preferred.
- Relevant experience in small animals/pet reproductive medicine and surgery preferred.
- Strong clinical and surgical skills.
- Good knowledge of canine and feline reproductive health.
- Compassionate approach towards animals with solid pet-parent communication skills.
