Senior Video Editor | Storytelling, Motion Graphics & Cinematic Editing

Location: Remote | Preferred: Pune

Experience: Prior professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, and long-form storytelling

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Video Editor who can transform raw footage, ideas, and research into compelling, cinematic, and story-driven content.

This role is not just about cutting clips together. We’re looking for someone who understands how to tell a story through visuals, pacing, sound, motion, and composition —someone who can make complex ideas engaging and ensure that every frame serves a purpose.

The ideal candidate should have a strong creative eye, excellent editing instincts, and the ability to present information in a visually sophisticated way.

What You’ll Be Working On

- Editing high-quality, story-driven videos for digital platforms.
- Creating cinematic sequences that make information, people, places, and processes visually engaging.
- Using motion graphics, animation, typography, transitions, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
- Translating scripts, voiceovers, and ideas into compelling visual narratives.
- Working with footage, archival material, graphics, sound design, and other visual elements to create a cohesive viewing experience.
- Developing creative visual treatments for documentaries, explainers, brand stories, and other editorial content.
- Collaborating with the creative and production teams to refine storytelling, pacing, and overall execution.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong professional experience in video editing, preferably in documentary, editorial, branded content, explainers, or cinematic digital content .




- Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and narrative structure .
- Strong hands-on ability in motion graphics, animation, typography, and visual presentation .
- Ability to make ordinary footage and information feel visually compelling.
- Valuable understanding of sound design, music selection, transitions, and how they contribute to the story.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for visual quality.
- Ability to independently understand a brief, suggest creative approaches, and execute them.
- A portfolio that demonstrates both technical skill and storytelling ability .

We are not particular about the software you use . Whether you work with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Blender, or any other professional tools, what matters most is your ability to deliver exceptional editing, motion graphics, and storytelling .
