Video Director Beauty & Personal Care Faridabad 4+ Years

We are looking for a hands-on Video Director with 48 years of experience in video production, preferably within beauty, personal care, FMCG, D2C or consumer brands. The ideal candidate is skilled in translating creative briefs into engaging shoot-ready concepts, directing on-camera talent and making strong visual decisions on set. A portfolio demonstrating personally directed short-form, product, educational or campaign content is essential.

Responsibilities

1. Interpreting approved briefs and scripts into transparent scene objectives, beats, blocking and shot priorities.
2. Directing performers, presenters and project-based talent with clear actions, emotional cues, timing and product-handling guidance.
3. Developing shot plans with the DOP, ensuring purposeful coverage and visual emphasis.
4. Executing scenes on set while maintaining the approved message, pacing, visual logic and product truth.
5. Reviewing takes and requesting purposeful alternate shots or performances wherever required.
6. Providing editors with scene intent, preferred takes, continuity notes and creative priorities.

Requirements

1. 4+ years of hands-on experience in video direction/production.
2. Experience in short-form, product demonstration, educational, campaign or advertising content.
3. Prior exposure to beauty, personal care, FMCG, D2C or consumer brands is preferred.
4. Strong experience in directing actors, presenters, influencers or non-actors for natural on-camera performances.
5. Strong visual judgement across blocking, framing, pacing, product visibility and continuity.
6.



Ability to collaborate effectively with DOPs, videographers, editors and production teams.
7. Strong communication, calm on-set leadership and practical problem-solving skills.
8. A portfolio/reel showcasing videos personally directed by the candidate is essential.
9. Qualification: Relevant graduation/degree; demonstrated directorial experience and portfolio will be given greater importance.
