About the Role

We are looking for a creative and driven Video Editor who is not just interested in editing videos but wants to contribute to building a strong and engaging media engine.

You will work closely with the Founder in a quick-paced startup environment, creating high-quality video content across multiple formats. The ideal candidate should understand that great editing is not only about cuts and transitions—it is about storytelling, pacing, audience retention, brand positioning, and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit podcast episodes, including full-length episodes and short-form clips.
- Create engaging long-form video content for digital platforms.
- Edit high-retention short-form videos and reels.
- Develop structured and visually engaging educational content.
- Create video assets for marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Convert ideas and raw footage into narrative-led brand stories.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, and visual effects where required.
- Ensure strong pacing, hooks, storytelling, and audience retention throughout the content.
- Collaborate directly with the Founder to understand content objectives and creative direction.
- Take ownership of projects from raw footage to final delivery.
- Suggest creative improvements rather than simply following instructions.




- Maintain consistency in video quality, branding, style, and messaging.
- Stay updated with current video, social media, and content trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Experience in both long-form and short-form video editing.
- Strong understanding of motion graphics and visual storytelling.
- Good understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, and storytelling techniques.
- Ability to create content that is engaging and aligned with the target audience.
- Strong attention to detail and visual sense.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to understand a brief and independently develop creative solutions.
- Curiosity about business, branding, positioning, marketing, and growth.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple projects.

Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of graphic design.
- Experience creating content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, or other digital platforms.
- Understanding of social media content trends and audience behaviour.
- Experience working with podcasts or personal-brand content.
- Knowledge of colour grading, sound design, and basic audio editing.
- Strong creative thinking and the ability to think beyond conventional editing.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
