We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, advertisements, brand campaigns, events, and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, music, transitions, typography, visual aesthetics, and current social media trends.

You should be someone who doesn't just edit footage, but understands how to make people stop scrolling and watch.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing

- Edit short-form and long-form videos for various digital platforms.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, event videos, and brand films.
- Edit raw footage from professional cameras, mobile shoots, and other sources.
- Select the best shots and create a strong visual flow and narrative.
- Add appropriate cuts, transitions, effects, music, sound effects, and graphics.

2. Social Media Content

- Create trend-driven Reels and short-form content.
- Edit videos according to current Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube trends.
- Understand hooks, pacing, retention, and storytelling for social media.
- Create multiple versions/formats of videos for different platforms.
- Add subtitles, captions, text animations, emojis, graphics, and CTAs where appropriate.

3. Motion Graphics & Visual Effects

- Create engaging text animations and motion graphics.
- Add logos, titles, lower thirds, product information, offers, and other graphic elements.
- Use visual effects creatively without compromising the overall quality of the video.
- Basic knowledge of After Effects / motion graphics will be an advantage.

4. Audio & Sound Design

- Select suitable background music and soundtracks.
- Sync music with visuals and edit according to the beat where appropriate.
- Add sound effects and ambient sounds to enhance storytelling.
- Perform basic audio cleanup and balancing.
- Ensure clear dialogue and appropriate audio levels.

5. Brand & Advertising Videos

- Edit videos for Meta Ads,



YouTube Ads, product promotions, brand campaigns, and marketing campaigns.
- Understand the difference between organic social media content and performance marketing creatives.
- Create multiple creative variations for testing different hooks, messaging, and formats.
- Ensure videos follow brand guidelines and campaign requirements.

6. Shoot Coordination

- Work closely with the Social Media Manager, Creative Team, Photographer, and Videographer.
- Understand shoot requirements and provide inputs regarding shots required for editing.
- Organize and manage raw footage efficiently.
- Identify missing shots and coordinate for additional footage when required.

7. Content Optimization

- Edit videos according to platform specifications and requirements.
- Create videos in formats such as:
- 9:16 Reels / Shorts / Stories
- 1:1 Social Media
- 4:5 – Instagram/Facebook
- 16:9 – YouTube / presentations / websites
- Optimize videos for quality, file size, resolution, and platform compatibility.

Software Skills Strong working knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- CapCut
- Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator — added advantage

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of video editing principles
- Excellent sense of timing and pacing
- Good knowledge of transitions, effects, typography, and color correction
- Understanding of social media content and trends
- Good storytelling ability
- Ability to select the right music and sound effects
