Role Description This is a full-time, in office Video Editor role based in Ahmedabad.

The Video

Editor will capture and edit video content that showcases the salon’s creative work, brand story, and client experiences for digital platforms. Daily responsibilities include assembling footage, editing clips, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color grading, and integrating motion graphics and graphics elements to create polished content. The role also involves collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to plan video concepts, maintaining organized media libraries, and delivering content on schedule.



The ideal candidate will help strengthen the visual identity of HAIR RAP BY YOYO across social media and other marketing channels.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and the ability to plan, capture, and organize footage effectively.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing, including cutting, sequencing, and adding transitions and audio.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, appealing visual tone across all content.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance videos with titles, lower thirds, and branding elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Strong visual storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an eye for aesthetics aligned with a premium salon brand are beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while collaborating with creative and marketing teams is beneficial.
- Prior experience in social media content creation, fashion/beauty or lifestyle video editing, and a portfolio showcasing relevant work is beneficial.
