Role Description This is a full time, on-site Visa Counselor role based in Ahmedabad.

The Visa

Counselor will guide clients through end-to-end visa processes, including explaining requirements, assisting with documentation, and preparing applications for various destination countries. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, reviewing forms and supporting documents for accuracy, coordinating with internal teams, and tracking application status. The role also involves maintaining updated knowledge of visa rules, following up with clients regularly, and documenting all interactions in company systems.

Qualifications

- Strong client service and counseling abilities, with the capacity to explain complex visa requirements in clear, accessible language.
- Excellent communication skills in English and local languages, including confident speaking, active listening, and professional email writing.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for handling multiple applications, documents, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Basic understanding of international education and immigration processes, with a willingness to continuously learn changing regulations.
- Proficiency with standard office software and online application portals, along with accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in a structured, target-driven environment, collaborate with team members, and maintain a client-focused approach.
- Prior experience in visa counseling, overseas education consulting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred; equivalent experience in counseling or administration will also be considered.
