Role & responsibilities The PRT Visual Art Teacher is responsible for planning and facilitating engaging, developmentally appropriate art learning experiences for students in Grades 1 to 4, in alignment with NEP 2020 and curriculum goals. The role focuses on developing age-appropriate skills in drawing, painting, design, and craft, while nurturing creativity, imagination, and artistic confidence.

The teacher promotes exploration through a variety of materials, techniques, and mediums, encouraging self-expression and originality. The role also supports the development of observation skills, visual thinking, and the ability to communicate ideas meaningfully through art.

In addition to subject teaching, the teacher will also discharge the responsibilities of a Class Teacher, contribute as a Hobby Club Teacher, undertake substitution duties as assigned, and fulfil all wider school responsibilities linked to student behaviour, safeguarding, supervision, pastoral care, and school operations.
