SEVEN DEGREE TECHNOLOGIES is looking for an experienced VMC Setter to join our team at Makarpura GIDC, Vadodara.

Responsibilities:

- Set and operate VMC machines as per engineering drawings and job requirements.
- Perform job setting, tool setting, work offset and tool offset corrections.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
- Set workpiece datum and ensure proper alignment.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and maintain required dimensions.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer and Height Gauge.
- Perform program prove-out and make necessary offset corrections.
- Monitor tool wear, cutting conditions and machining quality.
- Maintain production quality and minimize rejection.
- Follow machine safety and workplace discipline.

Requirements:





- 2–5 years of relevant VMC setting experience.
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Machinist preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of VMC machining, tooling and offsets.
- Basic knowledge of G-code/M-code.
- Siemens/Mitsubishi controller experience preferred.
- 4th-axis experience will be an advantage.
