Role & responsibilities

- Create a warm, safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports holistic child development.

- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based and experiential learning activities.

- Support childrens cognitive, language, physical, social, and emotional development.

- Observe, assess, and document childrens learning, progress, and individual needs.

- Encourage curiosity, creativity, communication, independence, and positive behaviour.

- Use engaging teaching strategies to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.

- Build solid, positive relationships with children and understand their individual learning styles.

- Communicate regularly with parents regarding childrens development, progress, and well-being.

- Maintain accurate classroom records, portfolios, and developmental observations.

- Collaborate with fellow teachers, coordinators, and support staff to enhance learning outcomes.

- Ensure high standards of child safety, hygiene, safeguarding, and emotional well-being.

- Participate in school events, celebrations, workshops, and professional development initiatives.

- Demonstrate patience, empathy, professionalism,



and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Preferred candidate profile

- Graduate/Postgraduate with NTT in Early Childhood Education, Montessori, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

- 35 years of experience working with children in the Foundational Years/Early Years segment.

- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate, play-based learning approaches.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and colleagues.

- Warm, patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach towards young learners.

- Creative and enthusiastic, with the ability to design engaging and experiential learning activities.

- Ability to observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress.

- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment.

- Comfortable working collaboratively as part of a school team.

- Proficiency in English is preferred.

- Passionate about early childhood education and committed to continuous professional growth.
