Role & responsibilities

- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of online counsellors.
- Handle and guide counsellors in student counselling and admission conversion.
- Counsel students/prospects through calls, WhatsApp, and other online channels.
- Monitor leads, follow-ups, conversions, and individual team performance.
- Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
- Provide regular training and coaching to counsellors on counselling techniques and course/university knowledge.
- Monitor call quality and ensure proper follow-up with prospective students.
- Handle escalations and resolve student queries effectively.
- Prepare and share team performance reports with management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth admission process.

Preferred candidate profile





- 1 to 4+ years of experience in online counselling/admission counselling, preferably in EdTech or higher education.
- Prior experience as a Team Leader/Assistant Team Leader will be preferred.
- Strong experience in online student counselling and lead conversion.
- Excellent communication and convincing skills.
- Target-oriented with strong follow-up and team-management abilities.
- Valuable understanding of online courses, higher education, and admission processes.
- Comfortable working with CRM/lead management systems and performance reports.
