About The Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team at GBIT. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our existing web applications while spearheading the development of new modules and features. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse tech stack, including ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Angular, and Azure cloud services.

The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance applications. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior developers, participating in architecture decisions, and ensuring the delivery of robust software solutions that align with business objectives. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background with proven experience in the following areas:





- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with .NET Framework and ASP.NET Web Forms in a production environment.
- Proficiency in C#, with a solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
- Solid expertise in Angular for developing single-page applications.
- Proficiency with Knockout.js and jQuery for creating dynamic, responsive user interfaces.
- Experience using DevExpress controls to enhance user experience.
- Ability to write efficient, optimized SQL queries and LINQ for data access and manipulation.
- Experience in building and managing scheduled tasks such as cron jobs using .NET console applications, Azure Functions, or WebJobs.
- Familiarity with designing scalable distributed systems with a focus on performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.

Educational qualifications typically include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and hands-on experience are highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance existing web applications built on ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Knockout.js, jQuery, and DevExpress controls.
- Design, develop, and implement new modules and features using ASP.NET Core and Angular, targeting deployment on Azure App Service.
- Design, build,



and consume RESTful APIs to support application functionalities and integrations.
- Optimize database interactions through efficient SQL queries and LINQ expressions.
- Rebuild scheduled .NET console jobs as Azure Functions or WebJobs to improve scalability and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure best practices and maintain high-quality code standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Participate in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies to improve existing systems and processes.
