About The Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic development team at GBIT. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our existing web applications built on ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Knockout.js, jQuery, and DevExpress.

Additionally, you will contribute to the migration and development of new modules using ASP.NET Core and Angular, targeting Azure App Service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET technologies, API development, and cloud-based solutions, with a passion for building scalable and efficient systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and participate in architecture decisions to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.



Proven hands-on experience with .NET Framework and ASP.NET Web Forms is essential. Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles is required.

Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API is necessary. Familiarity with Angular for building single-page applications, as well as Knockout.js and jQuery for creating dynamic user interfaces, is expected. Knowledge of DevExpress controls to enhance user experience is preferred. The candidate should have solid SQL and LINQ skills for writing optimized queries.

Experience with scheduled tasks, such as cron jobs via .NET console applications, and designing scalable distributed systems is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities ‒ Maintain and enhance the existing web application built on ASP.NET Web Forms, C#, Knockout.js, jQuery, and DevExpress.

‒ Design and build migrated modules in ASP.NET Core and Angular targeting Azure App Service.

‒ Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs; write efficient, optimized SQL and LINQ queries.

‒ Rebuild scheduled .NET console jobs as Azure Functions or WebJobs to improve scalability and maintainability.

‒ Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers,



and contribute to architecture decisions to ensure best practices and high-quality code.

‒ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

‒ Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and product offerings.
