Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Review existing websites and content structure.
- Migrate content from legacy Drupal sites to CampusPress/OpenScholar.
- Create and modify page templates.
- Perform content formatting and quality checks.
- Work directly with business stakeholders and website owners to gather requirements and validate migrated content.
- Coordinate migration timelines and progress updates.
- Ensure websites are functional and ready for launch within the target timeframe.

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking short-term support to assist with the migration of websites currently hosted on EWI servers, which are being shut down by Pitt Digital due to security vulnerabilities. The immediate need is to move websites from one Drupal-based platform to a new platform (CampusPress/OpenScholar) as quickly as possible to minimize the need for server hosting extensions.

- Migrate website content from EWI-hosted Drupal sites to CampusPress/OpenScholar.
- Create and apply website templates as needed.
- Copy, organize, and validate content during migration.
- Partner with website owners, stakeholders, and clients to ensure content is accurately transferred.
- Support basic website setup and configuration within the recent platform.

- Experience working within a Content Management System (CMS).
- Experience supporting website migrations, updates, or content management projects.
- Ability to manage multiple websites or priorities simultaneously Preferred Qualifications

- Basic understanding of website templates, page structure, and content publishing.
