We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder / Fabricator responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components as per engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal fabrication processes and blueprint reading

Key Responsibilities:

Blueprint & Drawing Reading: Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand dimensions, welding symbols, material specifications, and assembly requirements.

Material Preparation: Measure, mark, cut, bend, grind, and shape metal materials using appropriate tools and equipment such as shears, saws, grinders, and press brakes.

Welding: Perform welding using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Stick (SMAW) processes, as required, in various welding positions including flat, vertical, and overhead.

Fabrication & Assembly: Fit, align, clamp, and assemble metal components accurately before welding, ensuring proper dimensions and alignment.

Quality Inspection: Inspect completed welds and fabricated components for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, distortion, and improper alignment. Rectify defects as required.

Measurement & Accuracy:Use measuring and inspection tools such as measuring tapes, rulers, squares, verniers/calipers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding machines, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment in safe and working condition. Report equipment defects promptly.

Safety Compliance: Follow all workplace safety procedures and welding safety standards. Properly use PPE including welding helmets, gloves, safety shoes, protective clothing, and eye/face protection.

Workplace 5S: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and ensure proper storage and handling of materials, tools, and equipment.

Production Support:



Complete assigned fabrication and welding work within required timelines while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- ITI / Diploma / equivalent technical qualification in Welding, Fabrication, Fitter, or a related trade.
- Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator in a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or fabrication workplace.
- Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols.

-Knowledge of different metals, welding consumables, joint types, and fabrication techniques.
- Good knowledge of measuring, cutting, grinding, fitting, and assembly processes.

-Ability to identify common welding and fabrication defects.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

-Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications: -Relevant welding/fabrication certification or qualification.

- Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminium.
- Experience in structural, industrial, or heavy fabrication.
- Knowledge of welding inspection and applicable quality standards.

Working Conditions The role may involve working in a workshop, manufacturing facility, or project site. The employee may be required to work around heat, sparks, fumes, noise, heavy materials, and welding equipment and must strictly follow all applicable safety procedures and PPE requirements. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
