Workday Functional Lead - Financial Management systems

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Lead FINS with robust expertise in Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning. The ideal candidate will have a solid finance functional background, hands-on experience in Workday business process configuration, and the ability to lead functional activities across implementation, testing, production support, and release management.

Role Details

Experience: 7+ Yrs

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Shift: 1.30pm to 10.30pm

Mode: 5 days' work from office

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities

- Lead functional activities for Workday Financials (FINS), including business process configuration, testing, and production support.
- Work closely with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.




- Configure and support finance-related business processes across Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Supplier Processes, and Customer Processes.
- Support Month-End Close activities, finance operations, reporting, and data-related requirements.
- Work with Workday Adaptive Planning to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A-related; processes.
- Prepare and execute UAT, coordinate defect resolution, and ensure business readiness.
- Support production handoffs, deployment activities, and Workday release management.
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and data exchange using EIB.
- Provide functional guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth delivery of Workday Finance solutions.
