Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced X-Ray Technician to join a reputed hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality images, maintaining radiation safety standards, and providing proper patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform digital X-ray examinations as prescribed by doctors/radiologists.
- Prepare patients for X-ray procedures and explain the process clearly.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate X-ray and digital radiography equipment safely and efficiently.
- Select appropriate exposure factors based on the examination and patient requirements.
- Review images for technical quality and repeat examinations only when necessary.
- Follow all radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Use appropriate protective equipment for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
- Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments.
- Assist with portable/bedside X-rays when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the X-ray room and equipment.




- Perform routine equipment checks and report any technical issues promptly.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection-control procedures, and quality standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure professional patient handling.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience as an X-Ray Technician.
- Hands-on experience with digital X-ray equipment.
- Good knowledge of X-ray positioning, exposure techniques, and image acquisition.
- Knowledge of radiation protection and safety procedures.
- Experience with portable X-ray is preferred.
- Valuable communication and patient-handling skills.
- Ability to work effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Candidates available for immediate or short-notice joining will be preferred.
