About the Role

We, IDSSPL Technologies Pvt. Ltd., are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in a fast-growing IT/FinTech environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The role will be responsible for managing core accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close, compliance, and financial controls within a fast-paced IT/FinTech environment.

The ideal candidate should have robust accounting fundamentals, excellent analytical skills, and experience handling technology-driven businesses, transaction-based accounting, or high-volume financial data.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and expense allocations.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and financial schedules.
- Perform and review bank, customer, vendor, payment, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
- Analyse reconciliation differences and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Ensure revenue and expenses are recognized accurately in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and support timely collections and vendor payments.
- Monitor cash balances and assist with cash-flow reporting and forecasting.
- Prepare variance analysis and provide meaningful insights into financial performance.
- Support statutory accounting, tax compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
- Maintain effective internal controls and identify risks or control gaps.
- Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, procedures,



and financial controls.
- Work with Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and other teams to resolve accounting and transaction-related issues.
- Support ERP implementations, finance-system integrations, reconciliation automation, and other process-improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and reports for management as required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree/ Post Graduation/ Inter CA in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with general ledger, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems such as Tally or similar.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in FinTech, payments, financial services, SaaS, IT, or technology companies.
- Experience with payment processing, merchant settlements, transaction reconciliation, or digital financial products.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition and transaction-based accounting.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
