About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL Developer to join our dynamic team at Shriram General Insurance Co. Ltd. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, managing, and optimizing our database systems to support our business operations and application needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in MySQL database architecture, query optimization, and security practices. They will work closely with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure our data infrastructure is robust, scalable, and secure. The MySQL Developer will be responsible for maintaining database health, implementing performance enhancements, and supporting migration and deployment activities to ensure seamless data management across the organization.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in MySQL database administration and development is essential, along with a strong understanding of SQL query writing, performance tuning, and database schema design.





Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views, as well as knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Experience with version control systems like Git and understanding of cloud database services will be considered advantageous.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of database structures, processes, and best practices for future reference and compliance.
- Implement and enforce database security policies, including user access management and data encryption protocols.
