Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester / QA Tester with 2–3 years of experience in Manual Software Testing to join our team in Mohali.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in functional testing, regression testing, test case creation, bug tracking, web application testing, and QA processes. Knowledge of SQL, API testing, Postman, and Jira will be an advantage.

You will work closely with developers, QA team members, and other stakeholders to identify issues, verify fixes, and help deliver reliable, high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze software requirements and understand expected application behavior.
- Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.
- Perform manual testing of web applications across different scenarios and workflows.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs and software defects using Jira or other issue-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected.
- Collaborate with developers and team members to investigate, reproduce, and resolve software issues.
- Perform basic database/SQL testing when required.
- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman as applicable.
- Maintain clear and accurate test documentation, test reports, and defect reports.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to QA planning and execution.
- Help identify opportunities to improve QA processes, testing coverage,



and overall product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing / Manual QA Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Solid knowledge of Manual Testing and Test Case Creation.
- Hands-on experience with Functional Testing and Regression Testing.
- Familiarity with Jira or other bug/issue tracking tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Good understanding of software QA methodologies and testing processes.
- Knowledge of API Testing and Postman is a plus.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
