Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Software Engineer role based in the Greater Kolkata Area, with flexibility for partial work from home.

The Software

Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that power MAVR’s gym, trainer, and athlete platforms.

Responsibilities include writing clean, scalable code, implementing secure and reliable integrations, optimizing application performance,



and contributing to architectural decisions. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate user and business requirements into robust technical solutions.

The Software

Engineer will also participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of the development pipeline.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Programming for scalable web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and modular code design.
- Familiarity with modern frameworks, databases, RESTful APIs, and version control (e.g., Git).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented startup environment, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality features on time.
- Experience with cloud platforms, security best practices, and performance optimization is a plus.
- Interest in fitness, sports, or performance technology is an added advantage.
