About The Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in testing web, mobile, and backend applications. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans.

This role requires a strong understanding of automation frameworks, proficiency in Java, and hands-on experience with various testing tools and methodologies. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify issues early in the development lifecycle and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and manual testing across web, mobile, and backend platforms. Proficiency in Java and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles are essential.

Candidates should have a good grasp of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)



and experience working within Agile development environments. Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation, Appium for mobile testing, and RestAssured for API automation is required. Familiarity with Playwright and API/microservices testing will be advantageous.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications using Selenium, Appium, and Playwright.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure the functionality, performance, and security of applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
- Perform API testing and automation using RestAssured, validating API responses and microservices interactions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring testing is integrated into the development process.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and frameworks.
- Assist in performance testing using tools like JMeter,



and support network response mocking and debugging activities.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins, to automate testing workflows and ensure seamless deployment processes.
- Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices, and recommend improvements accordingly.
