Cryptlex builds software licensing and entitlement management products. At the core are native SDKs that run across operating systems and are exposed to many programming languages through bindings. We are looking for an engineer to design, build, and maintain these core libraries and the tooling around them. This is deep, low-level work where correctness, portability, and performance matter.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design, build, and maintain cross-platform systems software in C and C++, with Rust and Go used across parts of the stack.

Develop and maintain language bindings that expose native functionality to other languages, keeping behaviour consistent across each surface.

Ensure code runs reliably on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and reason clearly about platform differences in memory,

threading, filesystem, and process behaviour.





Diagnose and resolve low-level issues spanning concurrency, memory safety, performance, and ABI compatibility.

Write precise technical documentation and support developers integrating the SDK.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Strong programming ability in C and C++, with working knowledge of Rust and Go, or the ability to pick them up quickly.

Solid computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, memory management, concurrency, and operating system concepts.

A working understanding of security and cryptography.

Experience building or maintaining cross-platform software and an understanding of what breaks across platforms.

Comfort with debugging, profiling, and reasoning about low-level behaviour from first principles.

Clear written and verbal communication, and care for readable, maintainable code.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with FFI, ABI design, or cross-language interoperability.

Familiarity with cross-platform build systems and CI, such as CMake and multi-target pipelines.

Open-source contributions in systems or tooling projects.
