Role & responsibilities

Main Duties

- Build and maintain back-end services and APIs (REST/GraphQL), including integration with upstream/downstream systems.
- Implement secure coding practices, performance optimisation, and observability (logging/monitoring) to meet enterprise requirements.
- Write clean, reusable, well-tested code; contribute to code reviews and shared standards.
- Create and maintain automated tests (unit/integration) and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA, security, and platform teams to deliver increments efficiently.
- CMS (plus): when supporting content-managed sites, develop components/templates, integrate content with services, and support authoring needs (preferably in Sitecore).
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes.
- Develop and maintain front-end features using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React/NodeJS) and responsive, accessible UI patterns.





Requirements

- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer delivering production web applications.
- Strong front-end engineering skills (HTML/CSS, React).
- Strong back-end engineering skills (.NET/Node.js), API design, authentication/authorisation concepts.
- Working knowledge of software engineering practices: OO/design patterns, version control (Git), CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
- Good interpersonal communication skills; able to work as part of a team
- Solid command of both written and spoken English
- Capability to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
- Structured, systematic working style; positive attitude and keen to learn
- Able to work overtime on weeknights and weekends if necessary
