Job Responsibilities
A) Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the Government Sports Complex Project site, including RCC structures, masonry, flooring, and finishing works.
- Ensure execution strictly as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes (IS / NBC /government works standards).
- Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, supervisors, and labour teams to ensure work progresses asper schedule.
- Conduct routine site inspections to monitor quality of workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire-fighting teams to avoid clashes and ensure smooth interdisciplinary execution.
- Support execution of residential and commercial building projects as required by project allocation.
B) Measurement, Billing & Quantity Control
- Carry out quantity take-offs and joint measurements for civil, structural, and finishing works.
- Prepare and verify running account (RA) bills and measurement sheets as per contract terms.
- Reconcile material consumption against issued quantities and BOQ.
- Coordinate with the procurement and design teams to validate quantities against approved drawings.
- Assist in preparing comparative statements and cost estimates for site works and materials.
C) Design Coordination & Documentation
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and government project authorities for approval of drawings and site queries.
- Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and technical data sheets for accurate execution.
- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings, work completion reports, site registers, and statutory documentation.
- Assist in preparation of technical submittals, material approval requests,
and vendor documentation.
D) Material & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for timely availability of construction materials at site.
- Verify received materials against approved BOQ, purchase orders, and technical specifications.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for material delivery schedules, technical clarifications, and site queries.
- Support evaluation of vendor quotations and technical comparisons for materials and equipment.
E) Quality, Safety & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, safety standards, and statutory regulations applicable to government infrastructure projects.
- Conduct testing and inspection of civil and structural works prior to handover.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management and government stakeholders.
- Support senior engineers and the Project Manager in planning resources for upcoming project milestones.
- Act as a point of coordination for site issues and ensure timely resolution.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of site execution, quantity measurement, and billing for civil works.
- Hands-on experience in residential and commercial building projects (apartments, townships, offices, retail, malls, sports/institutional complexes, etc.).
- Prior experience on government / public infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Valuable understanding of structural and architectural drawings, and site-level coordination with MEP teams.
- Familiarity with IS codes, National Building Code (NBC), and local municipal / government works requirements.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for reviewing site layouts and drawings (preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, Word – for measurement sheets, reporting, and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills to liaise with consultants, contractors, vendors, and government officials.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project timelines.
- Willingness to be based at the Jalgaon project site.
Candidate Profile
- Education -Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Experience- 2 to 8 Years in Site Engineering, with experience in Residential andCommercial Projects.
- Software- MS Office – Excel, Word (Mandatory); AutoCAD (preferred)
- Industry- EPC / Civil Infrastructure / Real Estate / Government & Public Works Projects.
- Preference - Candidates with experience in government / sports complex or institutional projects, and residential-commercial site execution exposure, will be given preference.
- Certification - Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory); additional certification in Construction Management or AutoCAD is an added advantage
