Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Site Civil Engineer role based in Chennai.

The Site Civil

Engineer will oversee and execute civil engineering works at project sites, including supervising construction activities, monitoring quality and safety, and ensuring adherence to design specifications and local regulations. The role involves reviewing and interpreting civil engineering drawings, coordinating with contractors and multidisciplinary teams, and supporting planning and scheduling of site activities.

The Site Civil

Engineer will assist in stormwater management planning, inspection of drainage and utility works, and resolution of technical issues during construction.



The position also includes preparing site reports, maintaining documentation, and providing regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Civil Engineering and practical experience as a Civil Engineer on site-based projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
- Experience with Planning and coordination of construction activities, timelines, and resources.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, drainage systems, and related infrastructure design and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to site safety and quality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder coordination.
- Experience with civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) is an advantage.
