Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the hospital baby textile shop.

- Receive and verify baby textile products and other baby-care items supplied to the shop.

- Maintain proper stock records for all products.

- Arrange baby clothes and other products neatly and systematically.

- Assist parents and attendants in selecting suitable newborn and baby clothing as per their requirements.

- Provide information regarding product size, quality, price, and availability.

- Handle sales transactions and prepare bills/receipts accurately.

- Collect cash or authorized digital payments and maintain proper payment records.

- Maintain daily sales and stock registers.

- Monitor stock levels and inform the concerned manager about items that need to be reordered.

- Check products for damage, defects, stains, or packaging issues before sale.

- Maintain proper records of returned or exchanged items according to hospital/shop policy.

- Ensure that the shop is clean, organized, and hygienically maintained.





- Follow hospital policies regarding cleanliness, customer service, and skilled conduct.

- Prevent product damage, wastage, pilferage, and stock discrepancies.

- Conduct regular physical stock verification and report differences to the reporting manager.

- Coordinate with the purchase/stores department for procurement and replenishment of products.

- Maintain confidentiality and deal politely and professionally with patients and their attendants.

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales/stock reports as required.

- Perform any other duties assigned by the Store Manager or Hospital Administration.
