Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Machine Maintenance

- Perform routine preventive maintenance of all type of sewing machines.

- Clean, oil, lubricate, and inspect machines regularly.

- Check machine components for wear, damage, or abnormal noise.

- Maintain machines in valuable working condition to minimize breakdowns.

- Machine Repair

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical problems.

- Repair or replace defective parts such as needles, hooks, bobbins, feed dogs, presser feet, belts, gears, bearings, and motors.

- Attend to machine breakdowns quickly to reduce production downtime.

- Machine Setting & Adjustment

- Set machine speed, stitch length, thread tension, and feed timing according to garment requirements.

- Adjust machines for different fabrics and sewing operations.

- Ensure proper machine settings before production starts.

- Production Support

- Attend mechanic calls from sewing operators and production supervisors.

- Support operators when they face machine-related problems.

- Ensure machines are available and ready for continuous production.

- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve machine-related defects.

- Quality Control

- Identify machine-related sewing defects such as skipped stitches, thread breakage, uneven stitches,



puckering, loose stitches, and needle damage.

- Make necessary adjustments to maintain required stitch quality.

- Ensure machines do not cause fabric or garment damage.

- Preventive Maintenance

- Prepare and follow a daily/weekly/monthly machine maintenance schedule.

- Inspect critical machines regularly.

- Maintain records of machine servicing, repairs, spare-parts replacement, and breakdowns.

- Spare Parts & Tools

- Identify required spare parts and maintain minimum stock levels.

- Use maintenance tools properly and safely.

- Coordinate with stores/purchase teams for spare-parts requirements.

- Safety

- Ensure machines are operated and maintained safely.

- Check guards, electrical connections, motors, and other safety components.

- Follow factory safety procedures while carrying out repairs.

- Machine Installation

- Install and commission new sewing machines.

- Conduct trial runs after installation or major repairs.

- Train operators on basic machine handling and care when required.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
