- Perform routine and complex vehicle maintenance and repairs in a timely manner.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using computerized diagnostic tools and manuals.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status and needed repairs.
- Maintain a clean and protected work environment, adhering to company safety policies.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Continuously update technical skills and knowledge of current vehicle technology.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an automotive service technician or similar role preferred.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams, and technical service bulletins.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in Mystic, CT.
- ASE certification is a plus.
