Role Description The Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This role involves overseeing daily service operations for diesel engines, including planning and scheduling service jobs, coordinating technicians, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The Service

Manager will handle customer inquiries, assess service requirements, prepare estimates, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.

Responsibilities include managing spare parts availability, liaising with Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited on technical and warranty matters,



maintaining service records, and generating performance reports. The role also includes training and guiding service staff, implementing best practices, and continuously improving service processes to enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Robust technical knowledge of diesel engines, maintenance procedures, and diagnostic practices.
- Experience in service operations management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Customer service and communication skills to manage client relationships and resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, service reports, and inventory records for spare parts.
- Leadership capabilities to guide service teams, provide training, and enforce safety and quality standards.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in an engine service, industrial equipment, or OEM dealership environment is an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and service management tools; familiarity with OEM guidelines and warranty processes is beneficial.
