Role Description The Senior Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based at HAIR RAP BY YOYO in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for planning, editing, and producing high-quality video content that showcases the salon’s brand, services, and creative work across digital platforms.

Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, refining video narratives, applying color grading, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements to create engaging promotional, educational, and social media content.

Editor will collaborate closely with the salon’s creative team to conceptualize campaigns, maintain brand consistency, and deliver content within deadlines.



The role also involves organizing media assets, optimizing videos for various channels, and contributing ideas to elevate the visual identity of HAIR RAP BY YOYO.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and planning, including storyboarding and coordinating shoots.
- Candidates should possess advanced Video Editing skills, including cutting, sequencing, audio syncing, and post-production workflows.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Video Color Grading for visual consistency, mood enhancement, and brand-aligned aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, transitions, and branded visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media and digital content formats.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with creative and marketing team members.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle content is a plus.
