Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead and oversee structural design, analysis, site execution, and technical coordination for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring structural safety, quality, compliance with applicable codes, and timely completion of engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead structural design and engineering activities for residential, commercial, and other construction projects.
- Prepare, review, and approve structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documents.
- Perform structural analysis and design of RCC, steel, foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and other structural elements.
- Review structural designs to ensure safety, stability, constructability, and cost effectiveness.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, contractors, and other consultants.
- Review structural drawings and resolve design and site-related technical issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction is carried out as per approved structural drawings and specifications.
- Monitor structural works including reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, steel structures, foundations, and other critical activities.




- Provide technical guidance to junior structural engineers and site engineering teams.
- Check shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules, and structural material specifications.
- Identify design discrepancies, clashes, and potential structural risks and provide appropriate solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IS codes, NBC requirements, project specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with external structural consultants and contractors whenever required.
- Assist in project planning, estimation, budgeting, and value-engineering activities.
- Review material submissions and ensure materials meet approved specifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of structural calculations, drawings, revisions, inspection reports, and technical approvals.
- Support project teams in resolving construction challenges while maintaining structural integrity.
- Ensure projects are delivered within the approved quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
- Excellent knowledge of RCC and steel structures.
- Knowledge of foundation and soil-related structural requirements.
- Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, and relevant structural design software.




- Good knowledge of IS codes and structural design standards.
- Strong understanding of structural detailing and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with specialization or strong experience in Structural Engineering.
- M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering is preferred.
