Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake/dbt Data Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise data modernization initiative.

The role involves migrating legacy SAP BODS, SQL, and Informatica IICS workloads into a modern Snowflake and dbt architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop dbt models for staging, intermediate, ODS, and consumption layers.
- Convert legacy SQL, SAP BODS, and Informatica IICS transformation logic into dbt.
- Develop reusable dbt macros and transformation frameworks.
- Build scalable ELT pipelines.
- Optimize Snowflake SQL performance and warehouse utilization.
- Implement data transformation best practices.
- Create technical documentation and source-to-target mappings.
- Maintain data lineage documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and deployment activities.
- Support migration validation and data reconciliation.




- Identify and resolve migration-related data issues.
- Work with onshore technical leads and enterprise architecture teams.

Required Skills
- 7+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- 3+ years of Snowflake experience.
- Strong hands-on dbt experience.
- Advanced SQL.
- Strong Data Warehouse knowledge.
- Performance tuning experience.
- Git.
- CI/CD.
- Agile methodology.
- Solid ELT/data transformation experience.
