About the Role We are looking for a skilled

Senior Security Engineer – Azure to join our team and take ownership of cloud security, infrastructure protection, threat monitoring, and security operations across Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with

Azure security services, cloud security controls, IAM, SIEM, vulnerability management, and incident response , along with a good understanding of enterprise security best practices.

Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain security controls across

Microsoft Azure environments. Monitor and secure Azure infrastructure, applications, networks, and cloud workloads. Manage and implement

Azure security services , including Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Key Vault, Azure Firewall, NSGs, and related security solutions. Implement and manage

Identity and Access Management (IAM)

using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access, and privileged access controls. Monitor security events, investigate alerts, and respond to security incidents. Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation of security vulnerabilities.

Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and technical documentation.



Perform security assessments of cloud infrastructure and identify potential risks and misconfigurations. Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, Network, and Application teams to implement

DevSecOps and secure cloud deployments. Support security audits, compliance requirements, and risk assessments. Participate in threat hunting, log analysis, and root-cause analysis of security incidents. Automate security monitoring and operational tasks using scripting or relevant tools where required. Stay updated with emerging cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and Azure security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience Minimum

4 years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security engineering. Strong hands-on experience with

Microsoft Azure security .

Positive knowledge of: Microsoft Defender for Cloud Microsoft Sentinel / SIEM Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Azure RBAC and IAM Azure Firewall and Network Security Groups Azure Key Vault Security monitoring and logging

Experience in incident response, threat detection, vulnerability management, and security assessment . Strong understanding of cloud networking and security concepts. Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices such as

ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and Zero Trust . Familiarity with scripting/automation using

PowerShell, Python, or similar tools is an advantage. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
