Job Summary

Jayaraj Group is looking for an experienced and target-oriented Senior Sales Engineer to join our commercial vehicle sales team in Kovilpatti. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Generate new sales leads through field visits, market research, and customer references.
- Meet transporters, fleet owners, contractors, and business customers to understand their vehicle requirements.
- Explain vehicle specifications, features, applications, pricing, and commercial benefits.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate with customers to close sales.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Coordinate with finance, documentation, and delivery teams.




- Identify current market opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
- Conduct regular customer follow-ups and maintain accurate sales records.
- Submit daily field visit reports and sales updates to the reporting manager.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automobile or commercial vehicle sales.
- Experience in commercial vehicle sales will be preferred.
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of commercial vehicles and their applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
