Position: Sales Engineer / Sr. Sales Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Sales Engineer / Sr. Sales Engineer to develop business and provide technical solutions for wear plates, specialized welding consumables, hardfacing, cladding, and reclamation applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate leads, identify target accounts, and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage direct customer accounts and support dealer/distributor networks.
- Conduct plant audits to identify wear and tear issues and recommend suitable technical solutions.
- Conduct technical product demonstrations and recommend optimal welding and joining processes.
- Track competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
- Gather customer feedback and work closely with Product Development/R&D; teams.




- Build solid relationships with customers across manufacturing, maintenance, and fabrication sectors.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to new account acquisition and business expansion.

Requirements
- B.Tech/B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Production Engineering.
- 2–6 years of techno-commercial sales experience.
- Experience in wear plates, hardfacing solutions, or welding consumables.
- Strong knowledge of welding applications and wear plates is required.
- Experience with Cement, Mining, Steel, or other process industries is preferred.
- Strong technical negotiation, solution-based selling, territory planning, communication, and relationship management skills.
