Role Description The Senior Quality Engineer is a full-time, in office role based at our manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for overseeing product quality throughout the production lifecycle, including defining quality standards, implementing inspection plans, and monitoring quality metrics for automotive components.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing process data, conducting root cause analyses, managing corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with production, design, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.

The Senior Quality

Engineer will lead audits, support continuous improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and mentor junior quality team members in best practices and tools.





Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Engineering and Product Quality, with experience applying quality tools and methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Quality Control and Quality Assurance, including inspection techniques, testing procedures, and documentation of quality records.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Quality Management, such as developing quality plans, managing audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Relevant experience in automotive manufacturing, particularly with plastic, sheet metal, or assembly components, is highly beneficial.
- Working knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001), statistical process control, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis) is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in using quality and data analysis software, and the ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, coach team members, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, shop-floor-driven environment.
