- Supervise day-to-day pharmacy operations and ensure smooth functioning of the department.

- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital protocols.

- Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and potential medication errors.

- Ensure proper storage, handling, and expiry monitoring of medicines.

- Maintain adequate stock levels and coordinate timely procurement of medicines and consumables.

- Monitor FIFO/FEFO practices and conduct regular stock verification.

- Maintain records of controlled, high-alert, emergency, and other critical medicines as per hospital policy.

- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, purchase, stores, billing, and other departments for pharmacy-related requirements.
