Senior Operations Manager – Inbound & Outbound Travel

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations Manager – Inbound & Outbound Travel to lead and strengthen our operations team across domestic and international travel.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in tour operations, FITs, groups, MICE, hotel contracting, transportation, destination management, supplier negotiations and itinerary execution , with the ability to manage multiple destinations and high-value bookings simultaneously.

This is a leadership role for someone who can build processes, lead people, control costs, improve service standards and ensure seamless execution from booking confirmation to trip completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Inbound & Outbound Operations team and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Oversee complete operational execution of FIT, GIT, MICE, corporate and leisure travel .
- Coordinate with hotels, DMCs, airlines, transporters, guides and other suppliers.
- Negotiate and maintain competitive hotel, transport and DMC rates and commercial agreements.
- Ensure accurate costing, margins, confirmations, vouchers and operational documentation.
- Monitor every booking from confirmation → pre-arrival → execution → post-travel closure .
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.
- Establish SOPs, checklists and approval processes to minimise errors and last-minute issues.
- Track supplier performance, service quality, payment terms and outstanding operational issues.




- Work closely with Sales, Accounts, Marketing and Management to ensure commercial and operational alignment.
- Train, mentor and monitor the performance of the operations team.
- Introduce technology and automation wherever possible to improve productivity and reduce operational dependency.
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly and monthly operational reports and KPIs .
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and customer satisfaction .

What We Are Looking For
- 7–12+ years of robust experience in travel operations , preferably with both inbound and outbound exposure.
- Proven experience managing an operations team.
- Strong knowledge of international destinations, hotels, DMCs, transfers and sightseeing.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of tour costing, margins and operational controls .
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in travel technology, CRM/ERP or tour operating systems will be an advantage.
