Role Description The Senior Mould Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This role is responsible for leading the design of injection molds from initial concept through detailed engineering and validation.

Day-to-day tasks include developing 3D and 2D mold designs, reviewing product drawings for manufacturability, performing design calculations, and collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and production teams to ensure robust tooling solutions. The engineer will oversee design reviews, address design changes, support tooling trials, troubleshoot mold performance issues, and optimize designs for quality, cost, and cycle time. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, maintaining design standards,



and coordinating with clients and suppliers to align technical requirements and project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for injection molds and related tooling.
- Solid Mechanical Engineering background with understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drafting of mold components.
- Familiarity with Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to mold design, hot runner systems, and automation interfaces.
- Experience in injection mold design for plastic components, including multi-cavity, hot runner, and complex tooling solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Several years of experience in mould design engineering, preferably in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, GD&T;, and industry standards, and to perform tolerance and fit analyses.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and global clients.
- Solid problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
