Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related discipline.

Experience with programming and application design with the focus on CICS/COBOL/LIFE3 mainframe development.

Experience with Mule ESB platform or similar is desirable.

Salesforce (Visual Force and APEX) and Visual basic knowledge is desirable.

Java, Mule, Salesforce exposure is desirable.

Experience working in the Financial Services or Insurance industry is an advantage.

Exposure to Agile ways of working / methods is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE

Logical and analytical with the ability to learn current systems quickly.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

LIFE3/CICS/COBOL (main focus), Desirable: - Exposure to: Mule, Salesforce (Visual Force and APEX), Visual Basic, Workflow, SQL Server, DB2

Understanding of Mainframe & Agile development practices including use of Control-M, JCL, TSO/ISPF and FTP.
