Job Title: Lab Technologist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Lab Technologist who can independently handle day-to-day laboratory operations, with strong expertise in Hematology and Clinical Pathology. The candidate should be capable of managing laboratory procedures, equipment, quality control, documentation, and coordination with other laboratory departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations, particularly in Hematology and Clinical Pathology.
- Handle sample collection, processing, testing, and storage as per laboratory protocols.
- Perform hematology investigations including CBC, ESR, peripheral smear, coagulation-related tests, and other relevant investigations.
- Perform clinical pathology investigations involving urine, stool, body fluids, and other clinical samples.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results through proper quality-control procedures.
- Identify abnormal or critical results and communicate them to the concerned senior/doctor as per protocol.
- Maintain proper laboratory records, registers, documentation, and reports.
- Follow all SOPs, quality standards, biosafety, and infection-control procedures.
- Ensure proper handling, labelling, storage, and disposal of samples and biomedical waste.
- Monitor reagents,



consumables, and laboratory stock and report requirements to the concerned authority.
- Handle basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and coordinate with service personnel when required.
- Coordinate with other laboratory departments and support overall laboratory operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and proper organization of the laboratory.
- Take responsibility for the smooth functioning of assigned laboratory activities during the shift.
- Perform other laboratory-related duties as required by the management.

Eligibility & Requirements

- Qualification: B.Sc. MLT (Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience – Mandatory.
- Strong practical experience in Hematology and Clinical Pathology.
- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures, analyzers, quality control, and safety protocols.
- Ability to independently handle multiple laboratory responsibilities.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, if required.

Preferred Candidate A highly experienced B.Sc. MLT skilled with 5+ years of relevant experience, who has strong expertise in Hematology and Clinical Pathology and is capable of independently handling most day-to-day laboratory operations. Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
