Location: Ahmedabad, India /n Work model: In-person /n Company: Iron Fit You — IFY /n About Iron Fit You/n /n Iron Fit You is a digital health and performance platform that combines wearable technology, physiological data and intelligent insights to help users better understand and improve four essential pillars: Effort, Recovery, Sleep and Focus. /n We are looking for a senior, hands-on Health Data Scientist to lead the analysis, validation and evolution of IFY’s data and insights. /n Your mission/n /n Your mission will be to transform wearable and user data into reliable, scientifically grounded and actionable insights. /n You will work closely with our healthcare, product, development and account management teams to ensure that IFY collects the right data, calculates it correctly and communicates meaningful insights to users. /n Key responsibilities/n /n /n

- Analyse longitudinal user data across activity, heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, recovery and other physiological indicators.

/n

- Work with healthcare professionals and account managers to identify relevant insights and opportunities to improve each user’s experience.

/n

- Validate whether data from the wearable, mobile application and backend systems is being collected, processed and calculated correctly.

/n

- Investigate anomalies and identify possible bugs in data collection, synchronization, algorithms and calculations.

/n

- Create automated data-quality checks, validation rules and monitoring systems.

/n

- Review and improve database structures, data models and analytical pipelines when necessary.

/n

- Support the development and validation of baselines, scores, recommendations and personalized targets.

/n





- Compare individual user data with historical patterns, cohorts and relevant external datasets.

/n

- Research scientific literature and public health datasets and translate findings into practical product methodologies.

/n

- Explain complex analyses clearly to technical, healthcare and business teams.

/n

- Document data definitions, formulas, assumptions, validation methods and findings.

/n /n - Required qualifications/n /n /n

- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics engineering, data analytics or a related position.

/n

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.

/n

- Strong experience with relational databases, data modelling, ETL processes, APIs and time-series data.

/n

- Experience investigating data-quality problems and tracing issues across multiple systems.

/n

- Robust knowledge of statistics, trend analysis, anomaly detection and algorithm validation.

/n

- Ability to work with large longitudinal datasets and turn analysis into actionable recommendations.

/n

- Ability to read, evaluate and apply scientific research.

/n

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

/n

- Excellent written and spoken English.

/n

- Availability to work in person in Ahmedabad.

/n /n Preferred qualifications/n /n /n

- Experience with wearable devices, digital health, fitness technology,



sports science or remote patient monitoring.

/n

- Familiarity with physiological metrics such as heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, physical activity and recovery.

/n

- Experience with PostgreSQL, cloud data platforms, data warehouses and business intelligence tools.

/n

- Experience designing or validating health scores, recommendation engines or personalized baselines.

/n

- Familiarity with healthcare data governance, privacy and responsible use of health information.

/n

- Academic background in data science, computer science, statistics, biomedical engineering, bioinformatics, public health or a related field.
