Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finishing Engineer to oversee and manage all finishing activities at construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality execution of finishing works, timely completion, coordination with contractors and consultants, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and monitor all finishing activities at the project site.
- Manage finishing works including masonry, plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, false ceiling, doors, windows, joinery, sanitary fixtures, and other architectural works.
- Ensure all finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Review architectural and finishing drawings and coordinate with design consultants for clarifications.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors and monitor their daily work progress.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Identify and rectify finishing defects, workmanship issues, and site discrepancies.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, MEP, and architectural teams to avoid clashes and delays.
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for finishing activities.




- Check material quality and ensure materials are approved before installation.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and consultants for timely execution.
- Monitor work progress against project schedules and take corrective action where required.
- Ensure proper sequencing of finishing activities to achieve timely project completion.
- Conduct snagging and de-snagging inspections and ensure timely closure of all defects.
- Verify measurements and support quantity verification and billing of contractors.
- Ensure proper protection of completed works to prevent damage during subsequent activities.
- Maintain records of inspections, approvals, material submissions, checklists, and work progress.
- Ensure compliance with project quality, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site supervisors.
- Assist the Project Manager in resolving site-related technical and execution issues.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of building finishing materials and construction methods.
- Excellent understanding of architectural and finishing drawings.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and finishing specifications.
- Ability to identify and resolve workmanship and technical issues.
- Good knowledge of construction planning and site execution.
- Strong contractor and subcontractor management skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and quality consciousness.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
- Good reporting and documentation skills.

Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Additional certification in construction/finishing management is an advantage.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in residential apartments, villas, high-rise buildings, commercial buildings, or large-scale real estate projects will be preferred.
