The Senior Financial Analyst - Site Operations will partner with site leadership to drive financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. Through forecasting, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, this role will identify opportunities to enhance profitability, optimize costs, and contribute to the overall success of the site.
General Responsibilities
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify and analyze trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis
- Identify and report changes in methods and materials
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of reports and tools
- Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced workplace with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Additional Responsibilities
- Partner with site leadership to drive financial performance and operational decisions.
- Lead monthly close, reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, productivity, spending, and inventory performance.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Develop KPIs and provide insights to improve business results.
- Evaluate capital investments and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, financial controls, audit readiness, and compliance.
- Track productivity savings and drive reporting process improvements through automation and standardization.
Additional Qualifications
- 5 years of finance, FP&A;, accounting,
or manufacturing finance experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, or supply chain teams.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar).
- Strong analytical, business partnering, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to turn financial data into actionable business insights.
- Continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Operational Excellence experience preferred.
