Role Description The Senior Civil Designer will be responsible for developing detailed civil designs and drawings for cold storage projects, including site layouts, foundations, drainage, and structural elements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing site plans, coordinating with engineers and project managers, integrating stormwater and erosion control measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with construction teams, vendors, and clients to refine designs, resolve technical issues, and support project execution from concept to completion.

This is a full-time, in office role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular interaction with project stakeholders and site visits as needed.

Designer is expected to contribute to design optimization, cost-effective solutions, and timely delivery of project documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including structural and infrastructure elements relevant to cold storage facilities.
- Minimum 5 Years Experience with Site Plans, including grading, layout, access roads, utility planning, and integration with overall project design.
- Knowledge of Stormwater and Stormwater Management systems, including drainage design, retention/detention, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of Erosion Control methods, materials, and best practices for construction sites and long-term facility performance.
- Proficiency with CAD and civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) and ability to produce clear, accurate drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with several years of relevant design experience.
- Familiarity with industrial or warehouse projects; experience with cold storage or temperature-controlled facilities is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
