We are looking for an experienced Senior Checker – Tekla Structures to review and verify structural steel models, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and related detailing deliverables. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Tekla Structures, structural steel detailing, fabrication standards, and connection details.

The Senior Checker will be responsible for ensuring that all drawings and models are accurate, complete, constructible, and comply with project specifications, structural drawings, and applicable standards before submission to the client or fabrication team.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Check and review Tekla Structures 3D models prepared by detailers.
- Review GA drawings, assembly drawings, single-part drawings, erection drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Verify dimensions, levels, member sizes, quantities, materials, and drawing details.
- Check steel connections, bolts, welds, plates, stiffeners, cleats, bracing, and other structural components.
- Ensure the Tekla model matches the structural/engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Identify clashes, missing members, incorrect connections, dimensional errors, and detailing issues.
- Verify BOM/MTO reports and material quantities.
- Check drawing standards, numbering, revisions, title blocks, weld symbols, bolt information, and annotations.
- Ensure drawings are suitable for fabrication and site erection.
- Coordinate with Detailers, Modelers, Structural Engineers, Project Engineers, and Project Managers to resolve technical issues.
- Review and implement client comments and revisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable AISC, BS, Eurocode, IS,



AWS, or client-specific standards as required by the project.
- Conduct final quality checks before project submission.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior detailers and checkers.
- Monitor quality and help reduce rework and detailing errors.
- Participate in project review meetings and resolve technical queries.
- Maintain project documentation and follow company QA/QC procedures.
- Support the team in meeting project quality, accuracy, and delivery deadlines.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Tekla Structures.
- Excellent knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication.
- Good understanding of steel connections and constructability.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
- Good knowledge of Tekla numbering, reports, drawings, and model management.
- Knowledge of international steel detailing standards.
- Strong checking and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently handle checking for medium to large projects.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience in structural steel detailing and checking.
- Experience working on industrial buildings, commercial buildings, PEB, warehouses, platforms, pipe racks, or other structural steel projects.
- Experience with international projects and client standards is an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
